Campervan Hire Manchester Airport

Overland Campers is located within one hour’s drive of Manchester Airport.  The city centre of Manchester itself is approximately 45 minutes from us and makes a great stop-off at the start or end of your holiday.  There are frequent trains from the airport direct to Huddersfield station which is just a short journey from our premises.  To check times or to book train tickets visit https://www.thetrainline.com or https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

We can collect you from Huddersfield free of charge upon request.  For parties of five or more a minbus taxi from Huddersfield station will cost approximately £15.  Alternatively you may wish to hire a taxi direct from the airport to our premises.  The fare varies depending upon the number of passengers but you can expect to pay around £60 for a standard car.  If you would like us to organise a taxi or obtain a quote on your behalf please contact us and we will be happy to do so.

Manchester Attractions

Manchester is packed with things to see and do.  There are hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars and a thriving live music scene whose venues include Manchester Arena, Victoria Warehouse, Albert Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Deaf Institute and many more.  A range of music, arts, cultural and sporting events take place throughout the year as do stadium tours of both Old Trafford and the Etithad stadiums.  For up-to-date listings check out www.visitmanchester.com.   Manchester has several theatres if you want to catch a show including the Palace Theatre, Manchester Opera House, Royal Exchange Theatre and The Lowry.  In addition it has some great museums and galleries.  Slightly further out, 10 miles away, is the Trafford Centre a large retail and entertainment complex hosting shops, restaurants, a large cinema, Sea World and Legoland.

Booking

• Check availability either via our online calendars or by contacting us.
• If the dates are free then drop us a line with your email address and we will send over the booking forms.
• A deposit of £150 and return of the completed forms is required to secure dates.
• The balance payment is due six weeks prior to hire.
• The bond (security deposit) is required 14 days prior to hire.  The bond is £750 for Fergal, Lance and Stirling and £1000 for Amber.  This is refundable as per the Terms and Conditions of booking.
