Blackburn Farm
This working farm half a mile from Gayle has a small quiet campsite whose facilities include toilets, showers, and electric hook-ups. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too.
Blackburn Farm is within easy walking distance of Hawes where there are several cafes, shops, pubs and visitor attractions.
Catgill Farm
With amazing views and lots to do nearby, Catgill Farm has everything you could want from a Yorkshire Dales holiday.
Catgill has spectacular views across the Wharfe valley and a small stream meandering through the site. A beautiful and peaceful setting, the site has superb facilities for a memorable stay.
Gordale Scar
Gordale Scar is a small quiet site in the North Yorkshire Moors. The site has space for 60 pitches and although the facilities are basic, the views are stunning.
With some lovely walking routes nearby Gordale Scar is extremely popular with hikers and climbers. The village of Malham is within easy walking distance if you fancy a pub lunch or a pint or two.
How Stean Gorge
A favourite of ours, How Stean Gorge is the perfect place for happy campers to pitch in a picturesque setting.
Visitors can explore the natural caves and walk along the gorge during their stay. The site does not have electric hook up but features outdoor activities and excellent facilities including a shop, restaurant and shower block.
Howgill Lodge
Whether you are looking for an action-packed holiday with the kids or a quiet back to nature retreat with your loved ones, Howgill offers it all.
Howgill is in a completely rural location, yet still has lots to do nearby in the Yorkshire Dales. High quality facilities and on site amenities provide an amazing stay.
Ivy Bank
Ivy Bank is a great base for exploring Yorkshire. Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Lightwater Valley and brewery tours in Masham are all close by. For that added bit of luxury you can hire a mobile hot tub for the night – delivered right to your camper on a tractor!

Kettlewell
Situated in an enviable location on the edge of Kettlewell Village with stunning views across the Upper Wharfedale valley whilst only being a short stroll from all that Kettlewell has to offer. Park the camper, open a bottle of wine and relax, knowing everything you want is nearby.
A lovely family run campsite with excellent facilities and friendly owners.
The Station Inn
The Station Inn is a traditional inn with stunning views of the Ribblehead Viaduct. The pub boasts a large car park and camper vans are welcome for overnight stays.
The Station Inn is also a popular stop for cyclists who like to take advantage of the miles of green lanes that cross the Yorkshire Dales.
The Wyvill Arms
This former 18th century farmhouse in the Yorkshire Dales is now a well-established pub, hotel and restaurant offering the well-known and traditional Yorkshire hospitality to all who visit.
The owner kindly lets our hirers camp at this wonderful hotel for the price of a meal and a pint! There is access to water and a chemical disposal point.
